loucanola - ufo footage - Report 16/08/2011

"UFO hotspots" are considered the only places to visit if one wants to see something paranormal in the sky, unless coming across a lucky encounter. Opinions are set to change once Loucanola aka "Tony" has had his voice heard. Tony, an ex police forensic photographer from Moonee Ponds, claims that his compelling footage captured on a night vision video camera prove that rather than his backyard being a "hotspot", he simply captures things that cannot be seen by the naked eye!

I was lucky enough to interview Tony about his vast collection of footage and his youtube channel which releases them to the public.

James: Hi Tony, great to be talking with you. Can you tell us a little about yourself and what sparked your interest in UFO's?

Tony: I am 51 years old and I have been interested in ufo's all my life and it's just grown into a passion. I

was 99% convinced they were real, but the final turning point was when

I saw the 'sts 48' event. No doubts at all anymore.

I find it very concerning that so many people all over the world are

capturing some very good footage, yet no one apart from enthusiasts

seem to be interested.

I was one a police forensic photographer here in Victoria and I really

do try to record footage as evidence. The most important aspect is to

include reference points, which is sometimes difficult to do.

Currently I am a carer and am lucky enough to have the time to look

up and record more than other people can. I think that's the only

reason I am recording so many objects.

James: What equipment was your footage captured on?

Tony: I use a 'Yukon Ranger' generation 1 night vision scope, with direct

video output. I split the output into 2, so I can I record directly to

pc and watch on a 7 inch monitor attached to the tripod. That's how I

focus and track.

I did a lot of research with low lux video cameras, but the quality of

night vision is amazing.

I've always dreamed of recording these objects and now with

the availability of night vision recording equipment it's just gone

wild. It really is amazing how many objects are flying around up

there. Lately I just set my camera running on a tripod direct to pc

and edit the footage during the day. Generally 3 hour blocks. In the

early morning and just after sunset.

James: What do you think your most solid evidence of UFOs is?

Tony: It's strange, but what I think is the most solid evidence, dosen't

seem to attrack as many views. Definetely the 2 high altitude V shape

objects. One I caught by accident, only about 2 seconds of footage,

but it's clearly a huge V shape craft in orbit. I also think the 2

objects rotating around each other is pretty solid. That footage I

took in dalylight with a IR filter on a sony analogue camera set on

night vision. (all footage on my page)

James: You say that where these are recorded isn't a hotspot, but these objects are more common than people think. what other locations have you discovered sightings?

Tony: "Believe it or not, I only film in my backyard. I really believe these

objects are everywhere and I don't see Moonee Ponds as a special place

to film."

"I normally check the ISS and satellite tracking to avoid posting satellites.

I can normally see a dozen or so bright stars

on a clear night, but with the night vision, I can see many thousands.

Generally in a 2 hour session I sometimes count over 30 satellites."

James: What sparked your interest in UFOs and when?

Tony: I've been interested in ufo's all of my life and it's just grown into

a passion. I've always dreamed of recording these objects and now with

the availability of night vision recording equipment it's just gone

wild. It really is amazing how many objects are flying around up

there.

James: Anything else you would like to add?

Tony: "I have so much footage now, I am hoping to make a dvd 'documentary' one day as the quality is much better than youtube uploads."

Sightings

December 2011 off to a ‘flying saucer’ start! Posted by satellitelost on December 11, 2011 | Edit December 2011 off to a ‘flying saucer start’

Within the first week of December there has been at least 4 sightings around Victoria including Geelong, Frankston to Melbourne’s Western Suburbs. What raises the credibility of the people who witnessed these is the amount of evidence to back them up.

Below is video footage of a UFO spotted over Port Phillip bay, the craft moved from South to the East and was recorded around 9:30 PM on the 6th of December, 2011. The Footage isn’t the best quality, although the fact it has been captured and the length of the footage helps.

The day after the 6th of December also lead to more UFO sightings.

Both witnessed around the same time, hundereds of kilometers apart, one with evidence, one without.

The first sighting, witnessed in Frankston apparently shone “as bright as the moon”, and acted strangely in the sky, therefore it being recognised and questioned. Footage and evidence to be uploaded soon.

The second incident that night I am able to go into alot more detail, as I witnessed it myself…

The time was 11:30 at night on Wednesday the 7th of December, I was sitting in a friends car outside my home in Sydenham, Western Suburbs Melourne. The object was originally sighted by my friend who was sitting in the drivers seat. At first the only intriguing detail was its steady movement and bright green light emitted from it. As we were facing Melbourne airport we were able to cross reference the UFO with other known craft (airplanes) as we watched on. The unidentified object appeared to be brighter than an airplane, closer to us and travelling on the same 45 degree angle, as if taking off.

Next the ufo manouvered a 180 degree turn and started heading back in the opposite direction; this is what really grabbed our attention! The object changed colours from bright green to white in an instant, and stayed that colour for a few minutes. Appearing closer and closer as it repeatedly changed directions and colours for about 15 minutes as we went through the possibilities of what this could be. And being an almost completely clear night that night, ot was easy to compare the object to stars and other aircraft near the airport.

We could not agree on an airplane as the 180 degree turns are not possible with anything flying near the airport other than a helicopter. Helicopter was also ruled out as this object was completely silent, and judging by the brightness and size of the lights emitted it would definately have been heard. Skylights or weather balloons were also rulesd out as the object ascended to what looked like a landing twice within our 15-20 minute sighting.

Now I’m not saying that there were aliens inside this craft or anything too far from what was simply seen and observed. Evidence would have been helpful but unfortunately at the time, neither of us had any electronics available, not even a phone. What we can bothadmit is that we witnessed an intelligently operated, highly manouverable object changing colours in the sky in front of us. This object was completely silent and was definately a physical object, as we saw it pass between two objects on its first ascent to ground level, behind the horizon of the house line.

December 2nd 2011 UFO sighting in Geelong, Victoria

I have not got the full details on this sighting yet so there will be evidence to come, as my group VUFOA have been contacted by a man who claims to have hours worth of footage from this night of a UFO in his area. Full sotry to come soon.

Is this a “flap”?

(For those who dont know, a flap is a term used for UFO sightings in consecutive days withing a certain area. These flaps have been known to last for months in certain areas of the world, usually with high amounts of witnesses and evidence).

I personally wouldn’t go so far as to call this a flap so far, but the coincidence cannot go unnoticed.

Close Encounters

Close Encounters – What do they really mean? Posted by satellitelost on August 4, 2011 | Edit First of all, a “close encounter”, in ufology jargon means when a person witnesses a UFO event. J. Allen Hynek; an astronomer and UFO researcher coined this term back in 72′ in a book on the subject. There are four types of close encounters.

just gets to splitting hairs after four.

Close Encounters of the First Kind

The first kind is simply a sighting of at least one unidentified flying object, making it unidentified means witnessing any changing or weird lights, sometimes changing directions and the speed of travel which known human craft cannot perform. Or behaviour that cannot be attributed to human technology

Close Encounters of the Second Kind

Second is to “observe” a UFO, and witness physical effect of it, such as; heat or radiation, damage to terrain, crop circles, human paralysis, frightened animals, electronic interference especially with machines using signals such as televisions and radios, and of course missing time. Missing time was first used by Budd Hopkins, a forefather of UFOLOGY in his book titled “Missing Time”. If the encounter/observation is accompanied by being disorientated and leaving the encounter at odd hours, missing time may be involved.

Close Encounters of the Third Kind

Third is to witness “animate beings” inside or out of the UFO. Animate beings is left very broadly for scientific purposes, as if signs of intelligent life inside is enough without presuming extra terrestrials or presuming the occupants origin of nature.Bloecher subtypesThe UFO researcher Ted Bloecher proposed six subtypes for the close encounters of the third kind in the Hynek’s scale.

A: An entity is observed only inside the UFO

B: An entity is observed inside and outside the UFO

C: An entity is observed near to a UFO, but not going in or out.

D: An entity is observed. No UFOs are seen by the observer, but UFO activity has been reported in the area at about the same time

E: An entity is observed. But no UFOs are seen and no UFO activity has been reported in the area at that time

F: No entity or UFOs are observed, but the subject experiences some kind of “intelligent communication”

Close Encounters of the Fourth Kind

A human is abducted by a UFO or its occupants. These encounters, although interesting, are not too often reported for a number of reasons such as; the abductee may not yet remember or will never remember the event, they might feel crazy or look like a liar if they told someone, or abductees simply don’t want the attention and will pretend it never happened.

These are the four main types of encounters, others have been created (up to seven) but it
